Ahh, a day of good. It started this morning with my box of seeds from Willhites arriving. I think my mailman thinks I’m crazy because I possibly squealed over a box of seeds. I was on my way to my grandparents to accompany Mimi on a doctor’s appointment so I headed straight up there, box under arm, and as soon as I walked in, I grabbed a knife and went at it. Cue the oohing, squealing and excitement. Over packs of seeds. I know, I am weird.

We headed out for what was a very uneventful (yay!) doctor’s appointment. All is fairly well in the world of Mimi.

After, we went for a drive through the now green and lush countryside to the feedstore to pick up some needed items for more excitement that is coming. I cooed, oohed and ahhed over the 2 last ducklings they had in and firmly told myself no way, no how. Mainly because I didn’t know if they were male or female I also resisted the shelves of plants, reminding myself that I want to attempt seeds first. But oh, those lush little lettuces? Swoon worthy.

We headed BACK to where we came from and I picked up a few things I needed from Wal-Mart. Which by the way, I am in there so rarely, it’s kind of like a shock to the system when I DO go in there. So much stuff I possibly picked up more seeds. I have a seed problem.

Mimi and I sat in the parking lot after and snacked on Doritos and candy, as I had skipped breakfast and it had been awhile since she had eaten… Junk food and Johnny Cash in a sunny parking lot with trees blooming in the medians? Bring it!

Still had some time to kill before Miranda’s lunch break so we stopped in Big Lots to check out their gardening stuff. I left with nothing more than a mister bottle for my tomatoes, CD-Rs and a new love – my lemonade sign for my kitchen.

Lunch break finally rolled around… I possibly ate a cheeseburger the size of my head but it was very much worth it! So yummy.

Mimi and I had a fun-filled and productive day… It was really a wonderful day. Perfect weather and all.

To round out the wonderfulness, the little girl from up the road stopped by this evening with Girl Scout Cookies looking ever so cute on her bike with her little vest on. So, ya know, I had no choice but to buy a box of Lemonades. I just had to

All in all – a wonderful, amazing, spring day. I’d say so far, I’m still married to amazement most days.

I don’t think we ever out grow how good it feels to come home in the afternoon to have some cookies and milk.

When was the last time you had some homemade chocolate chip cookies and a tall glass of milk to come home to? I can’t remember either… These are storebought and the milk is watered down so I didn’t have to fill the whole glass with real milk….

Actually had a cup of French Vanilla coffe and some Girl Scout cookies.. So much for reality photograhs. =D
